We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Technician to join the Art Department at a highly regarded Independent School in Watford. This is a full-time permanent position offering the chance to play an important role in supporting teachers and students across a range of artistic disciplines. The successful candidate will help maintain a professional and inspiring studio environment ensuring that lessons and exhibitions run smoothly and safely.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience working as an Art Technician or within a creative environment (school or gallery preferred)
Strong practical knowledge of art materials tools and techniques across a variety of media
Confident using digital art and design software (e.g. Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage stock prepare resources and support both staff and pupils effectively
Art or Design qualification desirable
