EXPERIENCE: 10 Years IT experience (5 years as developer)

LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

TEAM: Production Order Central Vehicle Pipeline (POCVP)

Qualifications / Experience

IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent years of experience
Agile/Scrum certification
Project Management qualification (Advantageous)
10 years experience in an IT domain
5 years of that as a developer

Essential Skills Requirements

Ability to manage and steer a Team to deliver on time with the required quality and to run high performing DevOps Team(s) using the teams specific hybrid Agile methodology
Strong technical background with solid skills in Java SpringBoot Angular SQL Kafka MQ AWS execution of Linux commands
Strong operational management capabilities including incident management and troubleshooting operational processes and lifecycle management
Proficient in Agile Methodology JIRA Confluence
Strong administrative skills so as to correctly set up planning reviews and retrospectives status reporting and so on
Proven experience in a strong leadership capacity with excellent emotional intelligence

Advantageous Skills Requirements

A technical development background in the technology stack used (Angular Springboot Java Postgres) is ideal
Project Management experience
Knowledge of group and our AWM (Agile Working Model)
German speaker

Role Requirements

Team Leadership & Delivery:

Takes ownership and responsibility for all aspects of the Teams delivery and performance
Drives topics related to team morale & culture coaching of team members continuous improvement internal and external communication and transparency
Supports one or more Feature Teams in complex Products / Sub-products up to Domain level
Assists with other project / product- and team coordination tasks when required

Agile Facilitation:

Guides the team on the use and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices as well as the group Agile Working Model
Co-ordinates PI (Domain Cycle) planning and supports the Product Owner with grooming processes and product backlog management
Co-ordinates and leads relevant Agile Ceremonies and drives the resolution of Impediments

Operations Management:

Lead Operations teams to manage incident resolution within defined timelines
Ensure feature teams adhere to operational processes
Oversee deployment and release processes
Monitor and ensure compliance with Operational and Security KPIs
Evaluate approve and present changes to Change Advisory Boards (CABs)

Strategic Collaboration:

Collaborates with stakeholders across multiple sites/locations
Responsible together with their stakeholders determine the strategic direction of the product and prioritize the content of the product backlog in terms of available resources such as a budget and capacity and customer benefit
Manage all activities which are necessary for the development operations and maintenance of software and IT solutions

Additional Responsibilities:

Flexibility to perform business analysis technical analysis and systems analysis tasks as the team may have need
Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager
