Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) (m/f) 100%

Reports to: Group CEO
Division: Asset & Wealth Management
About the Role:
This is not a traditional COO role. It is the driving force of transformation: blending operational excellence with digital innovation to build the operations of the future automated data-driven scalable and resilient across all jurisdictions.
You will be the architect of high performance ensuring our Group operates with precision agility and technological leadership.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Execution & Alignment
- Translate Group strategic priorities into actionable operational roadmaps across regions.
- Drive the execution of CEO and Executive Committee decisions through measurable KPIs.
- Ensure consistent delivery standards and operational alignment across all jurisdictions.
- Report progress and key insights to the CEO and the Board.
Operational Excellence & Scalability
- Lead process reengineering across front middle and back offices.
- Implement Lean Agile and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strengthen cost efficiency productivity and operational resilience.
Digital Transformation & AI Integration
- Oversee Group IT systems and digital infrastructure.
- Drive automation (RPA low-code) data intelligence and predictive analytics initiatives.
- Govern data architecture cybersecurity and data governance.
- Measure ROI and ensure adoption of emerging technologies.
Governance Compliance & Risk
- Oversee implementation of Group-wide policies frameworks and operational controls.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across UK Cyprus Switzerland and UAE.
- Lead risk management vendor oversight and business continuity planning (BCP).
Leadership & Cultural Transformation
- Champion a culture of innovation agility and performance.
- Lead digital change programs and new operating models.
- Develop key talent build succession plans and embed accountability across functions.
- Foster collaboration between Compliance Risk Legal Technology Product and Finance teams.
Requirements
Your profile:
- 15 years of leadership experience in financial services operations ideally within Asset & Wealth Management.
- Proven success in digital transformation automation and process optimization.
- Expertise managing multi-jurisdictional operations under complex regulatory frameworks.
- Strong command of operational risk compliance and governance.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodologies.
- Strategic data-driven thinker with outstanding execution discipline.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
