Advantra is partnering with a large enterprise technology organization in Phoenix to hire a Project Manager to oversee two major migration initiatives under the Authorizations Modernization program.
About the role
You will serve as a Technical Project Manager for two parallel modernization projects: the Del Clerity uplift and the AMP Migration. The work includes coordinating across multiple engineering and application teams managing project timelines leading pre-production testing and driving post-production readiness for authorization and point-of-sale capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution for the Del Clerity uplift migration project.
- Manage the AMP Migration from pre-production to post-production phases.
- Coordinate across multiple engineering and application teams.
- Develop and track project schedules deliverables and dependencies.
- Ensure alignment between modernization goals and business outcomes.
- Facilitate risk assessments issue tracking and mitigation planning.
- Prepare and present project status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee testing cycles and cutover plans.
- Drive collaboration between infrastructure application and QA teams.
Core requirements
- 7 years of experience in technical project or program management.
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud modernization or infrastructure uplift programs.
- Experience managing multi-team dependencies and complex delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with pre-production testing and post-production rollout processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using project management tools such as JIRA or MS Project.
- Proven ability to manage risk and drive on-time delivery.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
Nice to have
- Background in authorization or payment systems.
- Experience with enterprise cloud migration programs.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and PI Planning.
- Experience with cross-functional coordination in regulated industries..
