Job Summary
seeking an experienced and driven Data Science Manager to lead our Search and Recommendations this role you will own the development and optimization of ML models that power personalized product discovery on our platform. Youll work closely with engineering product and business teams to build scalable real-time systems that improve search relevance and product recommendations driving engagement and conversions. Lead mentor and grow a team of data scientists focused on search relevance ranking and recommendation systems. Define the roadmap for search and recommendation algorithms balancing short-term improvements and long-term innovations. Drive experimentation and model development using techniques like collaborative filtering embeddings neural retrieval and ranking models. Partner with engineering to productionize and monitor ML models at scale. Collaborate with product managers to align on user experience goals and performance metrics (CTR conversion etc.). Establish best practices for feature engineering model evaluation and A/B testing. Stay up to date with advances in ML/AI relevant to personalized search and recommendation systems
