We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Head of HR to join our fast-growing innovation-driven this pivotal role youll be responsible for shaping the companys people strategy - building strong HR foundations driving talent growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
You will act as both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader ensuring that our HR operations processes and initiatives align with business goals and support a high-performing motivated team. Your Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR roadmap covering recruitment employer branding learning and development and organizational design.
- Culture & Engagement: Foster a culture of openness trust diversity and high performance serving as a cultural ambassador across teams.
- Talent Acquisition & Team Building: Identify attract and secure the best European talent aligning hiring goals with academic and technical priorities.
- Recruitment Leadership: Partner with a Scientific Recruiter and Academic Relationship Builder to ensure a strong and sustainable talent pipeline.
- Processes & Compliance: Establish scalable and efficient HR systems (onboarding QBRs 360 feedback compensation and benefits via our VESOP program). Ensure compliance and maintain a strong command of HR data and master data structures.
- People Development: Design and implement programs for training career development and leadership growth to empower employees at every level.
- Operational Leadership: Support the CTO and executive team in hands-on people management and daily HR operations.
- Leadership Collaboration: Act as a key member of the leadership team guiding all people-related strategy and decision-making.
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in HR / People Management ideally within a startup scale-up or tech/deep-tech environment.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to understand team dynamics mediate conflicts and inspire trust and motivation.
- Calm and confident leadership style providing clarity structure and guidance in a fast-changing environment.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to also execute hands-on.
- Understanding of scientific or technical career paths and the ability to assess candidate fit in a research-oriented setting.
- Passion for using science and innovation to drive meaningful global impact.
- Excellent German and English communication skills.
