Position Summary:

Collaborating with product managers and engineers the Senior Product Designer will create intuitive user-centered designs that meet the needs of our patients providers and organization.
As a supporting design role of the Principal level and Design Director positions work on multiple products across our ecosystem while specializing in either visual or UX design or both.
Will be an advocate for a user-centered and data-informed product design approach and will drive the adoption of best design practices across the team and organization.
Conduct user research and usability testing with patients physicians and care team members to inform design decisions and iterate on product designs.
Conduct qualitative research and distill insights problems and opportunities.
Advocate for a user-centered and data-informed product design approach and drive the adoption of best design practices across the team and organization.
You are always seeking the perfect balance between function and form.
With extensive knowledge of user-centered design interaction design and information architecture you can solve complex workflows with ease.
Your mastery of visual design information hierarchy layout composition and typography allows you to create beautiful and elegant user experiences that delight users.
Your designs can seamlessly blend strong branding and marketing strategy to craft a beautiful and compelling product narrative.
You have a deep appreciation for simplicity in design which is reflected in the elegance of your work and the products you admire or use everyday.
Specialize in either and maintain design systems patterns and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across multiple products.
You embrace ambiguity and can work closely with the team to make quick decisions learn from them and iterate.
You value rapid feedback and are not afraid to take risks.

You love exploring and iterating.
You are an expert with our design tools - You have a strong knowledge and expertise in design tools such as Figma Protopie User Testing or other User Research tools.

You are passionate about improving healthcare - Experience or a deep passion and interest for creating impactful patient and provider products in the healthcare industry is highly valued and would be a significant asset to this role.

Required Skills & Experience:

6-9 years or more of design experience required.
Strong portfolio showcasing design strategy and process across native and web apps with a high bar for design craft and excellence.
Demonstrated ability to individually lead a product from ideation to launch autonomously driving the design decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Specialist in either visual UI design UX design or both with a strong business acumen.
Ability to work on multiple products across our ecosystem collaborating with the Principal Designer and Design Director positions.
Extensive knowledge of user-centered design principles interaction design information architecture and copy/content strategy.
Experience building design systems and using design tools such as Figma Protopie and User Testing.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
A self-starter self-motivated able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
Experience or a strong interest in creating impactful patient and provider products in the healthcare industry.
Stays updated on the latest trends in the design healthcare and tech industry.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous and uncharted territory.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Startup and Service Design experience would be a big plus.

Required Education:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human-Computer Interaction Product Design or a design-related field.
