Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Python Engineer
Location: Phoenix AZ (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend and data processing systems using Python 3.x.
- Develop modular and reusable Python frameworks for data transformation integration and analysis.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for data services and analytical consumption.
- Work with AWS services (Lambda S3 API Gateway RDS/DynamoDB CloudWatch IAM) for data handling deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to operationalize and integrate models within production systems.
- Implement data access layers metadata management and data validation logic within applications.
- Ensure code performance scalability and reliability through structured testing and logging.
- Participate in architecture reviews design discussions and code reviews.
- Stay current with advancements in Python cloud data engineering and AI ecosystem tools.
Skills:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in Python development with a focus on data-driven systems.
- Strong command of Python 3.x including:
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Data structures error handling and performance optimization
- Libraries such as pandas NumPy and SQLAlchemy
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (JSON/XML).
- Solid understanding of AWS services Lambda S3 RDS/DynamoDB CloudWatch API Gateway.
- Exposure to data modeling schema design and cloud data storage patterns.
- Experience integrating with AI/ML pipelines or analytical platforms.
- Strong debugging and testing capabilities; familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks.
