Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is looking for a General Manager to be based at a Mine in North West!
Responsibilities:
- Legally appointed 4.1 under the Mine Health and Safety Act ensuring full compliance with statutory environmental and governance requirements.
- Lead the development and execution of underground mining strategy aligning operations with corporate goals and driving sustainable growth.
- Oversee underground production engineering and MRM functions ensuring operational efficiency cost control and optimal resource recovery.
- Drive a culture of safety performance and accountability fostering teamwork continuous improvement and alignment with the company values.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including DMRE unions and technical teams to maintain compliance operational harmony and industry excellence.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- A Valid Blasting Certificate
- 15 years of mining experience including 6 years in senior management roles within underground mining operations.
- Valid Drivers License Code 08
