Job Summary

Advantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Data Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud-based data architecture security compliance and analytics to support the DISA NEXUS program at Fort Meade. The ideal candidate will design develop and secure cloud-enabled data solutions within Azure and AWS leveraging best practices in data management automation and DoD compliance.

Responsibilities:

Design build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
Develop and optimize data models data lakes and data warehouses to support mission analytics and reporting.
Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems into centralized secure repositories.
Collaborate with cloud and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD STIGs RMF and FedRAMP standards.
Implement and enforce data governance integrity and access controls across the cloud data environment.
Work extensively with Oracle databases including data extraction transformation and migration into cloud environments.
Utilize tools such as Azure Data Factory AWS Glue Databricks SQL and Power BI for data orchestration and analytics.
Monitor and enhance data performance ensuring high availability reliability and scalability.
Support ongoing cloud modernization efforts and provide technical expertise for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance (required)
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science or related field
5 years of experience in data engineering database development or cloud data solutions
Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud data services (Azure Data Factory AWS Glue Redshift S3 Synapse etc.)
Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and automation
