Job Summary

The Greater Victoria School District provides public educational services to over 20000 students in the Greater Victoria Area encompassing six municipalities. To provide this service the District has a current operating budget of $260 million and employs approximately 3500 staff which includes teachers principals and vice-principals support staff psychologists speech and language pathologists and exempt managerial staff.

The Student Supervisor ensures the safety and wellbeing of students typically during non-class time while arriving leaving or on school property such as during recess and lunch periods. Supervisors work in all weather during the school year.

Qualifications:

Grade 10 or equivalent
Current First Aid and CPR
Basic knowledge of conflict resolution methods
Basic knowledge of inclusion and integration principles
Willingness to enroll in conflict resolution and/or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training

This position is for five (5) hours per week equating to one (1) hour per day Monday-Friday 11:45am-12:45am until June 25^th 2025 at a pay rate of $28.86 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits.
