Job Summary
We are looking for an engineer to design develop and deploy calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apples best-in-class products. This engineer will work closely with multi-functional groups (Design ME EE SW Ops etc.) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products.
- Masters/ Bachelors in Robotics/Mechatronics/Electrical/ Computer Engineering
- 5 years of professional experience in design development debug validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
- Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C/Objective-C along with scripting knowledge (Python Lua)
- Proven understanding of consumer electronics modules like transducers/ sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion)
- Understanding of test principles GRR experience with test automation and optimization
- Experience and strong background in control system and signal processing
- Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing
- Experience with digital serial communication protocols (USB UART I2C SPI)
- Experience with data processing tools - plotting processing and mining data
- Experience or deep understanding to AI/ML modeling
- Experience analyzing and processing large data sets
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across multiple rigors
- Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%)
