JOB DESCRIPTION:
OVERVIEW:
- A global manufacturer of high-performance coating systems is expanding its U.S footprint and seeking a Technical Representative Composite Coatings to support and grow relationships across North America.
- This is a unique opportunity for a technically minded professional to bridge engineering and sales-helping manufacturers in marine wind industrial and specialty composites optimize surface protection durability and appearance through advanced coating solutions.
- Youll be the key technical contact for customers: understanding their production challenges recommending the right coating systems coordinating trials and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Represent a full range of high-performance coatings for composite applications.
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to clients including product recommendations troubleshooting and training.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across diverse sectors such as marine wind automotive and industrial composites.
- Collaborate closely with R&D production and quality teams in the U.S. and Europe to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Manage territory development participate in trade shows and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare technical documentation proposals and field reports as needed.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry Materials Science Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience in coatings composites or industrial materials (sales technical support or applications engineering).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to translate technical data into customer value.
- Self-motivated and disciplined working in a remote travel-based role (approx. 3040% travel).
- Comfortable collaborating across time zones with global production and R&D teams.
- Must have home office drivers license and ability to travel without restrictions.
