Job Summary
Rice Lake West a self-performing general contractor specializing in the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants and large concrete structures needs an experienced mid- to high-level project manager to run work in North Dakota!
JobTitle: Project Manager Location: Fargo ND Department: Operations FLSA Status: Exempt
Primary Function: The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing all phases of projects from the hand off from estimating to completion ensuring the clients requirements are met and that jobs are completed ahead of schedule within budget and in compliance with company safety quality and procedural standards.
Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or Equivalent - or - Combination of technical training and experience.
Practical Knowledge: Construction Means & Methods Project Control Systems Math and Complex Calculations Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans Scheduling Data Analysis Organizational Methods Writing Verbal Communication Skills and Leadership.
Work Experience: Minimum 7-10 years experience managing projects for a general contractor focused on building water and wastewater treatment plants as well as other highway heavy industrial or commercial construction projects.
Successful Personality Traits: Pro-active trustworthy and flexible industry savvy leader striving to be a role model with the ability to adapt quickly to change using knowledge of the industry an open mind creativity common sense strong communication skills political sensitivity effective negotiating skills and the art of winning respect.
Travel:Frequent day trips and light to moderate overnight travel.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. The position receives full benefits package PTO and Paid Holidays.
