This is a unique opportunity to build a specialized skill set in collectible paper money authentication and grading. As a Grader in Training youll enter a development program that may last up to one year. Advancement is based on your demonstrated accuracy consistency and production performance over time not a fixed timeline. WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A GRADER IN TRAINING: - Participate in a comprehensive training program to learn PMGs authentication and grading standards.
- Handle collectible banknotes with care and precision ensuring proper preservation and security.
- Accurately input and verify item data in internal systems maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
- Learn to identify key features defects and authenticity indicators under the guidance of experienced graders.
- Support the grading team by preparing items for evaluation referencing materials and assisting with quality control.
- Monitor and report personal productivity accuracy and defect rates as part of a performance-based production environment.
- Apply feedback from trainers and senior graders to continuously improve skills and throughput.
- Collaborate with peers and mentors in a focused high-volume team setting.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Proven ability to work with precision and consistency in production-based or process-driven environments.
- Experience in roles involving high-volume data entry inventory management quality control structured decision-making risk-sensitive environments or similar fields.
- Strong critical thinking and observational skills including deductive reasoning and decision-making with incomplete data.
- Comfortable using computers databases and digital tracking systems.
- Ability to visually inspect fine details with consistency including distinguishing colors and evaluating depth or surface characteristics with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Self-motivated dependable and committed to long-term growth and skill development.
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Sarasota FL Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM.
