Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for precision and a strong grasp of cost analysis Invoke Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a leading commercial construction firm based in Raleigh NC. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high-performing team on complex rewarding projects across the region.

About the Role

As a Construction Estimator youll play a key role in the preconstruction processanalyzing drawings specifications and project requirements to develop accurate and competitive estimates. Youll collaborate closely with project managers architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure estimates are complete transparent and aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs cost estimates and proposals for commercial construction projects
Review plans and specifications to identify scope risk and opportunities for value engineering
Solicit analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to ensure alignment from concept through completion
Maintain historical cost data and assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts
Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools templates and processes

Qualifications

320 years of experience in construction estimating (commercial experience strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of construction means methods and materials
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred
