Job purpose

This position will report to the WHQ Financial Planning & Analysis manager and will work closely withother members of financeand accountingacross our headquarters and business units. This role will providehands-onexperience in the students field of study exposure tofinancesystems (OneStreamPowerBi Workiva)andprovide opportunities forthe student to continue to build their professional network.Thispositionwill also expose the student to finance automation tools and process improvement strategies.This role would benefitastudent thatisinterested in pursuing a career in finance accountingexternal reporting or finance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by monitoring business unitdeliverables to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner

• Assist withfinanceconsolidationsandthe preparation ofpresentation materials for Executive Leadership

• Participate in initiatives to automate manual processesthrough the use offinancial systems and artificial intelligence

• Research best practices for digital finance and present findings to the team

• Support the development of dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators

What were looking for

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing aBachelorsand/orMasters in accountingor finance

• Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above

• Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week (hybrid format)and be located within driving distance of our headquarters location in Auburn Hills MI

• Must be motivated and curious with a high degree of analytical skills

• Must beproficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel PowerPoint)

• Experiencewith otheranalyticaltools includingPowerBIandSnowflakeand artificial intelligencepreferred

• Experience with big-dataacquisition andanalysisandtechniquespreferred
