Job Summary
Charming Inns Hospitality Group is seeking a highly qualified motivated person to manage maintenance staff for a downtown Charleston hotel company. The manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and assisting with the day-to-day upkeep and repairs on our historic hotels including the Wentworth Mansion John Rutledge House Inn Kings Courtyard Inn Fulton Lane Inn and our restaurant Circa 1886 along with other special projects as assigned. This position is hands-on and will interact with property level employees corporate senior management and various vendors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all trades including HVAC plumbing electrical and carpentry
- Experience with historical properties is a plus
- Must be available to work 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and occasional on call shifts
