Job Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to operate CNC machining centers such as mills and lathes
- Make and revise CNC programs
- Able to perform set-ups on all machines
- Capable of learning processes such as drilling reaming tapping milling boring and turning
- Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment such as calipers micrometers etc.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Run deburring equipment
- Use fixtures to produce parts
- Maintain a clean safe workplace
- Overtime commitment when needed
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have minimum of 2 years CNC machine operation experience and knowledge
- Able to operate conventional machines such as but not limited to: engine lathe Bridgeport turret lathe and radial drill press
- Able to learn CNC programming software
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending stooping kneeling walking standing and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
