This is a senior executive position reporting directly to the Augusta Health CEO and working in collaboration with Senior Vice Presidents Vice Presidents and key leadership of Augusta Health. Primary responsibilities include facilitating the development of the Augusta Health strategic plan in accordance with the board planning cycle oversight of process for annual strategy management and deployment and working with leadership on development of geographic market specific plans and strategies. This position additionally facilitates the process for business development and planning based on health systems priorities.
This position oversees the development of strategic communications for executive leadership assuring that messaging is consistent and aligned with the mission and strategic direction of the organization. This position works closely with the CEO in staffing and supporting the work of the Core executive leadership team of Augusta Health.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in health care administration business administration hospital administration public administration or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive management/leadership experience with an emphasis on strategy development planning market development and strategic communications
- FACHE or related credential preferred
Skills:
- Strategic planning skills
- Goal development skills and ability to develop surveillance systems to oversee and monitor progress related to strategic goal deployment
- Development of market surveillance tools and ability to interpret market performance data
- Due diligence skills for feasibility analysis and project planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish priorities work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to listen and work collaboratively with other executives and key leadership
- Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages
