Job Summary

SALARY: 28000 Bonus OTE Up to 37000 benefits

Our client has a turnover of over 250 million and employs over 800 members of staff across 29 dealerships.

They are now looking for a Service Advisor for their car dealership in Weston Super Mare.


About the Role Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the service department. Your role is to deliver a seamless customer experience from booking through to vehicle collection. Youll work closely with the workshop and parts teams to ensure all work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standard while keeping customers informed and reassured every step of the way.

This is a customer-focused role with a strong emphasis on organisation communication and delivering a premium experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and handle service enquiries both in person and over the phone
  • Book vehicles into the workshop accurately inputting details into the system
  • Provide clear explanations of work required and keep customers informed throughout the service process
  • Liaise with the workshop team to monitor job progress and ensure completion deadlines are met
  • Produce accurate invoices and explain charges to customers at collection
  • Upsell additional services maintenance packages and products where appropriate
  • Handle complaints and queries professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of showroom and reception area presentation


What our client is Looking For:

  • Experience in a Service Advisor role or similar customer service environment (motor trade preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A friendly professional manner with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a busy team
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using DMS or booking systems (training provided)
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
