About the Role:
SAN R&D Business Solutions is offering a Skill-Building Opportunity for a Database Developer to design develop and maintain robust database solutions. This temporary volunteer role allows you to work on real-world data projects and gain experience in database management and optimization.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain database schemas queries and stored procedures.
Optimize database performance monitor performance metrics and troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with developers to integrate applications with databases.
Implement backup recovery and security measures for data integrity.
Participate in database design discussions and contribute to best practices.
Ensure data consistency reliability and availability across systems.
Support ETL processes and data migration activities.
Document database architecture workflows and procedures.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

3 years of database development experience.
Expertise in SQL and database management systems (MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle).
Experience with database optimization and performance tuning.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing is a plus.
