Job Summary
As ForTec continues to grow we are seeking an Application Developer responsible for designing developing and maintaining front-end applications. A successful candidate will design and develop high-quality customer enterprise applications adhering to agile methodology and perform code reviews. The Application Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality application solutions that meet business requirements.
Additional job responsibilities are outlined below:
- Design and develop front-end components of web applications
- Ensure the scalability performance and security of applications
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues as needed
- Work closely and collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements deliver solutions ensure a clear understanding of the code architecture and backlog priorities
- Actively participate in Agine ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives to guide the development process
- Work with the sprint coordinator to ensure that sprints are aligned with the sprint goals and that technical blockers are removed
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality maintainability and adherence to coding standards
- Provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or bootcamp training or equivalent work experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in front-end development preferred
- Strong proficiency in: Angular (v16 preferred) and TypeScript JavaScript ES6 HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design frameworks JSON and RESTful API consumption
- Solid understanding of front-end design principles UX best practices reusable/shared component patterns model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) design patterns and state management (NgRx or equivalent)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps Git or similar version control tools
- Knowledge of software development best practices modular design patterns and test-driven development is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative team environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills excellent communicator within face-to-face phone email and MS Teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
