Business Context

DevSecOps - Pipelines & Platform Engineering is responsible to provide solution to empower developers with a secure composable and automated DevSecOps platform that transforms software delivery into a seamless policy-driven and selfserve experience - enabling production deployment on every pull request with zero manual intervention continuous compliance andintegrated observability across the entire software development lifecycle.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Engineer to support hands-on testing on Policy as Code Policy Engines and Container security. The role will need to build and maintain test automation framework for policy related testing using Python programming language. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner and is able to work independently to perform efficient testing against policies in both Azure and GCP.

• Hands on role focused on test automation activities with high level of complexity
• Leverages strong knowledge to understand technical solutions to build optimized test approaches inclusive of the tooling strategy
• Plays a key role in developing documenting and proactively identifying end-to-end test solution designs and early automation opportunities
• Works collaboratively with the development team to define and validate user stories acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) / Ready (DoR)
• Applies the principles of behavior / Test Driven Development (BDD / TDD) and focus on value driven outcomes
• Leads Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies geared towards better faster more secure testing activities (such as Service Virtualization DevOps BDD Test Data Management)
• Implement new capabilities in test automation core to support new test requirements
• Analyze test automation results trouble shoot failures and identify issues
• Actively seeks and supports continuous improvement and automation opportunities within the quality engineering practice
• Identifies opportunities to minimize cost provides recommendations and/or deliver corresponding strategic solutions to support cost effectiveness and to enhance stakeholder experience

Experience and/or Education

• BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
• Strong academic background (e.g. software engineering computer science)
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Appetite for contributing within a complex and critical environment
• Expert knowledge on Kubernetes and container technology in Azure and GCP public cloud
• Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks development technology tools processes standards and procedures as well as organizational issues.
• Experience as a primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and a consultant on all aspects of technology and solutions
• Experience deploying managing and operating complex applications in a Cloud environment e.g. Azure GCP
• Understanding of shell script powershell Python and the ability to code for automation
• Understanding of critical concepts(CI CD CT CM etc.) and Agile principles
• Readiness and motivation to trouble shoot and identify highly complex and multifaceted deployment-related issues often independently.
• Experience in infrastructure services and application monitoring and logging
• Advanced knowledge of quality engineering frameworks technology tools processes and procedures

Must-have skillsets

• Development experience: Python Linux shell script Powershell
• Cloud experience e.g. Azure GCP
• Experience on using security tools such as Aquasec and Wiz
• AKS/GKE and container deployment experience
• Configuration management tools e.g. terraform Ansible
• CI/CD pipeline experience using Github
