ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Sportsbook Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Sportsbook Management with effectively managing operations by fostering a high-performing welcoming environment focused on providing superior customer service and ensuring all regulatory compliance AML reporting practices policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Effectively assist Sportsbook Management in managing day-to-day activities and business levels of the sportsbook including but not limited to:

    • Training and mentoring of Ticket Writers

    • Ensuring Sportsbook staff is operating in a manner that follows company policies and procedures

    • Ensuring compliance of all state gaming agency regulations and applicable federal rules and regulations

  • Demonstrate leadership and ensure operational effectiveness to yield success

  • Develop relationships with customers and ensure they feel welcomed by all team members whether patronage is regular or infrequent by promoting superior customer service

  • Assist Sportsbook Management with fostering an environment focused on regulatory compliance and proper AML/BSA reporting practices and assist with providing necessary Coaching as needed

  • Assist Sportsbook Management with mentoring Ticket Writers by developing their skills and knowledge of sports betting

  • Assist with managing all aspects of sports betting equipment escalating as necessary

  • Assist with providing support to Ticket Writers to handle customer complaints/disputes

  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks (ex. Kiosk drops cash accountability managing of supplies monitoring of sheets forms etc.)

  • Monitor back-office status including but not limited to monitoring kiosk error faults resetting unregistered cash and payout totals enabling/disabling of kiosks trouble shooting for steps of repair escalating to next line support when applicable and monitoring of customer usage for AML purposes

  • Act as an ambassador for the property to help promote sports wagering via retail kiosk and mobile platforms

  • Promote a positive image for the company within the industry and community

  • Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must be confident in ones ability to assess situations and make informed decisions

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage relationships

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage a diverse range of activities and effectively prioritize responsibilities

  • Ability to obtain and/or be eligible for work authorization regulatory licensing (where applicable)

COMPETENCIES:

  • Prior work experience in a sports book is highly preferred

  • Ability to motivate lead and mentor staff members

  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Self-starter attitude who shows initiative

  • Committed to delivering an elevated level of customer service

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift pull or push 25 lbs.

  • Must be able write for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to twist bend or reach with no significant boundaries.

GAMING PERMIT: NON-KEY
