Test Engineer Battery

Element has an opportunity for a Test Engineer - Battery Lab to join our rapidly expanding team in Warren MI. Element Warren provides testing and engineering services to manufacturers and leading suppliers in the passenger car light truck bus off-highway and military vehicle sectors. Its range of capabilities includes component and system testing system simulation engine performance and full vehicle structural testing.

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering or Electronics highly desired
• Minimum 2 years experience in a testing related field
• Knowledge of AVL / Bitrode battery testing systems desired
• Ability to work overtime as needed to accommodate client schedules. Must be a good communicator

• Possess a Bachelors of Science degree in a science or testing related field
• Have a minimum of 2 years pertinent post degree engineering experience or advanced academic/professional qualifications
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• Possess a high level of expertise related to scope core theories concepts terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline
• Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Elements business
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
• Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
• Possess strong computer skills
