The Pre Station Planning Technology team is one of the critical teams supporting and enabling Last Mile operations for Amazon Worldwide. We build software for demand forecasting capacity planning jurisdiction and topology management and fleet planning among other areas. All of these services help estimate the precise number of stations vehicles drivers and routes to deliver billions of packages to customers worldwide and have a high impact on cost as well as deliver efficiency.
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer with exceptional technical skills and a passion for delivering great software to join our team. As a member of this team you will be responsible to own and deliver highly visible innovative projects that directly impact the customer experience. You will be involved in driving the technical and architectural vision for a planning team that touches every Amazon package as well as all the aspects of the software development cycle including scoping design implementation testing & delivery of our product.
Key job responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product business development and various technical teams to design a suitable software systems
- Design and deliver modern flexible scalable solutions to complex optimization problems
- Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly-available software services.
- Design and implement production quality web applications that are secure and accessibility compliant.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.

- 2 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
- 1 years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
- 1 years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node
