About the Role:
Were seeking an Engineer III - Product QA to join our Next-Gen SIEM Data Pipelines team at CrowdStrike. As a QA focusing on External Integrations youll play a critical role in ensuring the quality reliability and accuracy of our data ingestion and processing from third-party sources. Our platform processes trillions of events daily and your expertise will be vital in validating the seamless and secure flow of this petabyte-scale data.
What Youll Do:
Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks to validate end-to-end data flow from external integration points into our core data pipelines.
Develop robust test cases for external data connectors focusing on data transmission integrity network protocols authentication and data consistency across cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
Work hands-on with multi-cloud services to simulate and test real-world integration scenarios.
Set up and manage test environments using Docker and containerization technologies.
Collaborate with development and product teams to review technical designs and ensure testability.
Drive continuous improvement in our CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated quality gates for external integrations.
Analyze and debug complex issues found in testing or production environments.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for new and existing external integrations.
What Youll Need:
5 years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer with a focus on large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience in testing and validating data pipelines with a focus on data quality latency and throughput.
Deep understanding of data transmission and networking protocols (TCP/IP HTTP TLS).
Strong working knowledge of multiple major cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Expertise in Docker and container technology.
Proficiency in administering and configuring remote servers via SSH.
Strong experience in a modern programming language (Python or Golang).
Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points:
Prior experience in Cybersecurity SIEM or Observability.
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (ex: Kafka).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform Ansible).
Contributions to open-source testing frameworks or tools.
