In the role of Power Account Management - Summer Student you will support the Power Account Management team in managing commercial power accounts analyzing data and assisting with modernization initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in operational accounting energy management data analytics and operational support within a dynamic team environment. Its an excellent job for people who are passionate about data and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative setting.

Placement Details:

This is an 4-month summer student placement located in Calgary AB.

What you will do:

• Monthly Accounting Support:Prepare and post monthly accruals for power-related expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with general ledger (GL) reconciliations for power accounts verifying entries and resolving discrepancies. Support variance reporting by analyzing actual costs versus budget and explaining key drivers. Process and validate invoices for power accounts ensuring timely approvals and accurate coding.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:Assist in compiling and validating power consumption and cost data. Support development of dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Power BI.
• Account Management Support:Help maintain accurate records of power accounts and contracts. Participate in reviewing account performance metrics and identifying optimization opportunities.
• Process Improvement & Documentation:Contribute to documenting workflows and updating process guides. Assist in automation initiatives and data standardization projects.
• Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with team members on ongoing projects and provide administrative support for meetings. Prepare summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Data Science Statistics or Business and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is an asset.
• Organized detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High performance).

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role located in Calgary AB.
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
