About the role

We are seeking a Network Area Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Operations Leader you will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring the network to ensure assets meet performance and reliability targets
• Collaborating with Lead Network Operations Engineers to direct various teams in asset operation and maintenance.
• Maintaining service and safetyduring asset renewals and developments including supporting growth projects.
• Contributing to process improvements that enhance safety performance and efficiency.
• Managing stakeholder relationships to support operational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide operational and maintenance expertise for water recycled water wastewater and stormwater systems.
• Work outside regular hours as needed whether from home the office or in the field.
• Deliver business strategies and operational plans to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Actively engage in corporate initiatives and provide input to improve community reputation.

About you

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline and/or relevantexperience in water/wastewater operations and maintenance.
• A valid drivers license.
• Experience in analysing and improving system performance asset isolation and flow management.
• Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation with a proven track record of delivering projects both independently and collaboratively.
