Job Summary
Role Description
This can be a full or part-time role for a Pharmacist located in Bluffton SC. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications providing patient consultations ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions maintaining medication records and advising on proper medication storage and usage. Additional responsibilities include conducting health and wellness screenings managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and assist with billing and insurance processing.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy experience including dispensing medications and verifying prescription accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills for patient consultations and advice
- Knowledge of medication management storage and regulatory compliance
- Ability to conduct health and wellness screenings and manage pharmacy inventory
- Proficiency in billing and insurance processing
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of SouthCarolina
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in community or retail pharmacy
