This Tribe Lead position is based in NL.

Your role & work environment

The Tribe Lead Data AI Analytics / CDO FCFP has a clear mandate and E2E accountability & responsibility for GFCFP data AI Analytics and Business intelligence activities and will be the FCFP CDO. You will steer define and implement the GFCFP data and analytics strategy capabilities and resources in alignment with all stakeholders in the value chain (working closely with CDD / Screening Tribe lead TM Tribe lead Country delivery teams ING Analytics Compliance CDO). The scope of the role is global and involves many stakeholders from different countries jurisdictions and related business and support functions.

With AI and Analytics relatively new in global FCFP benefit expectations high and FCFP processes are highly dependent on data the role requires to install new ways of working and governance. It also requires consolidating all GFCFP data teams into a single organization streamlined in an effective and efficient manner.

The Tribe is newly set up and will consist of the following areas: Product Area Inbound and Outbound Data Delivery; Product Area Data Management & Governance; Product Area Data Actualization Product Analytics; Product Business Intelligence. Next to that the team will consist of a small group of Innovation experts.

Your Roles & Responsibilities

  • Enabling transaction and customer data of ING entities (Retail and Wholesale) to be centrally ready for consumption by FCFP solutions and to provide data-based solutions to automate data related processes.
  • Steering execution of the data products by product (area) leads managing dependencies and collaboration across the entire value chain
  • Creating the global (data) foundation for FCFP to allow (re) using data from a central point for all products and if required acts as service provider to share the data across domains in line with policy and procedures ac
  • Deliver AI and innovation improvements through Scalable Operations (including Process Improvements Advanced Analytics and Automation) including stakeholder management and governance mechanisms across different functional domains (i.e. FCFP Analytics Tech Compliance Countries and others).
  • Drive full centralized reporting for FCFP working closely with Tech services/operations compliance and partners on defining a single source of truth of information and MIS.
  • Set up global governance around reporting business intelligence metrics change management instilling a formal QBR process to identify synergies and rationalization
  • Driving the tactical/strategic vision on reporting including tooling & architecture.
  • Ensure GDPR/data privacy/secrecy and storage requirements are met
  • As CDO FCFP you represent the Global FCFP function in the Global CDO MT and relevant data committees

As Tribe lead you report to Global head of Delivery data AI and Transformation.

We are looking for

A leader who will act as a behavioural role model with focus on delivery and content displaying the following behaviours and skills:

  • Completed masters degree preferably in data science Computer Science Information Management Business Analytics Applied Mathematics Economics or a related quantitative field. Executive education in leadership or digital transformation is a plus.
  • 10 years in data management with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles across large complex organizations. Experience leading multiple squads or tribes is essential.
  • Proven track record in designing and executing enterprise-wide data strategies including governance architecture and quality frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading large-scale change initiatives.
  • Good understanding of financial crime prevention frameworks (AML KYC sanctions screening fraud detection). Experience working with regulatory bodies and audits is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership skills serving as a role model with a strong emphasis on results and substance.
  • Experience in designing and implementing BI strategies to support AML fraud detection and risk management.
  • Proven track record in communication and senior stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technology operations and international teams.
  • Skilled in driving organizational alignment and harmonizing processes on a global level.
  • A proven ability to inspire develop and encourage innovation within teams.
  • Experience with the integration and implementation of advanced analytics machine learning and generative AI within business processes is a plus.
