Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain accounting procedures to accurately reflect up-to-date balance of each individual budget code within the budget of Lee Correctional Institution.
- Assist in monitoring of petty cash and special funds.
- Develop file systems for all incoming and outgoing budget materials (requisitions vouchers data printout reports and records.
- Responsible for preparing requisitions for all supplies and materials required for operations of Lee Correctional Institution.
- Responsible for inmate pin number requests.
- Establish and maintain effective and workable payment procedures to ensure that each inmate receives correct pay in a timely manner.
Must successfully complete four (4) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelors degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the division of state human resources)
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years of accounting or accounting related experience.
