Senior Logistics Coordinator

Do you want to be part of the logistics backbone of Mars Wrigley delivering smiles all over the world This is your chance to join the MARS Veghel factory Logistics team!

You will be in the middle of our supply chain and youare responsible to manage a crucial part of the supply chain to ensure the performance of our factories and markets. You will do this by managingour external partners which we use to produce and deliver 17.000 truckloads and 9000 containers a year to 100 markets.

You will make sure the day-2-day operations is executed flawlessly and you will drive the performance and KPIs of our suppliers like Kuehne&Nagel shipping lines and Van Acht.

Furthermore you will lead our Continuous Improvement projects with our partners to achieve our strategy and goals. To achieve this you will analyse large data-sets and transform them into conclusions action plan and presentable output. These projects can be either on costs service digitalization and sustainability.

What will be your Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates and drives the performance of our partners and provides relevant data to the logistics network planning commercial and factory management teams.
• Driver of our Continuous improvement agenda to make sure we will reach the goals defined in our strategy.
• Analyses big data-sets to identify improvement opportunities. Transform the data into conclusions action planning and presentable output.
• Digital first mindset which is shown by an eagerness to understand our systems and using tools like power bi chat gpt and power apps.
• Works proactively with other stakeholders throughout the End2End supply chain and keep them well informed about in-transit situation.
• Develop synergies in the organization of departures to minimize logistical costs: transport handling capital/demurrage costs.
• Assuring that all procedures and documentation required to have flawless and legal compliant import- and export processes are available at all involved parties.
• Timely escalation and problem solving together with entire Veghel logistics team

What are we looking for

• Higher education or university degree preferably in logistics.
• Ability to learn and grow fast can be high potential starter.
• Experience with ERP (preferably SAP).
• Ability to execute data-analysis and transform into conclusions.
• Good level of Dutch and English.
• Dealing with ambiguity drive for results priority setting and stakeholder management.
• Must be service oriented and have customer focus.
• Ability to further grow and develop.
