As part of our café team youll provide high-quality catering housekeeping and customer service to our residents and visitors. Your day will include preparing and serving meals and barista coffees maintaining cafe cleanliness and supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

Youll also make an impact by:

  • Delivering high quality cleaning laundry and meal preparation services to a standard determined by Helping Hand
  • Contributing to improving services and implementing those improvements
  • Sharing skills and knowledge with other staff to support their learning

What youll bring

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Good communication skills including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • Experience in barista and cafe operations
  • Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions take initiative and work independently
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one
