Junior Application Management Engineer

Our client is a leading European retailer with a strong digital footprint in the supply chain and logistics sector. Partnering with Accesa the client focuses on optimizing business-critical applications and ensuring seamless end-to-end processes. Through continuous monitoring data accuracy and proactive issue resolution we help the client maintain operational excellence and reliability across their digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Proactive Monitoring Ensure via proactive work that the store databases are error-free and the data is correct.

Incident Triage Apply ITIL Incident & Request Management principles in categorising prioritising or escalating issues to the right resolver teams when the situation calls for it.

Daily Operations Handle business processes independently including error handling performance tuning and Supply Chain services.

Database Management Perform daily tasks on the databases with the help of SQL statements.

Collaboration Hub Act as the communication bridge between involved IT departments and business departments within a 2nd & 3rd level support setup.

Documentation Maintenance Check and update the existing documentation according to the use cases.

Qualifications :

Must Have:

• Experience using ticketing systems and understanding of Application Support and Supply Chain processes
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Strong communication skills and a client-oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate within global teams across diverse cultures
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Good to Have:

• German language proficiency (B2/C1)
