Lean Practitioner

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking is seeking a Lean Practitioner (Level 3) to join the Fulfillment Process and Performance team in Orangeburg South Carolina.

As a Lean Practitioner you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for leading projects that enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey.

Position Responsibilities:

• Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles.
• Assists in formatting updated training materials.
• Leads and facilitates (Lean tool certified) process improvement efforts. Supports advanced continuous improvement tool application.
• Participates in strategy development.
• Conducts Beta tests on new tools.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment
• 3 years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
• 3 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
• 3 years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 3 years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• 3 years of experience implementing lean principles
• 3 years of experience teaching Lean tools and concepts
• 3 years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model
