The Unit consists of 4 general imaging rooms & 2 fluoroscopy units located within the department and 1 cysto fluoro unit within the OR. Mobile imaging is accomplished with 3 mobile units and 2 mobile C-Arms.

As an integral member of the Medical Imaging team to be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocol and standards. You will participate as a team member to ensure efficient and safe workflow.
- Performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures as outlined in the protocol/procedure manuals.
- Operating troubleshooting and ensuring that medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner.
- Preparing written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results; attendance at meetings as required.
- Assistance in preparation of manuscripts and grant applications data processing responsible for teaching training educational research safety and quality improvement programs/activities.
- Observing and understanding Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and designing imaging policies and procedures that will result in improvements in technical quality.
- Adhering to Hospital and departmental mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Performing other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care and cross-functional responsibilities as assigned or requested.
Qualifications :

- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Completion of a recognized post diploma program in MRI or recognized equivalent with MRI certification
- Current RTMR certification BCLS and Level II: Basic Rescuer certification required
- Cross-sectional Anatomy and Contrast injection course required
- Proficient with Word and using a computer
- Excellent problem recognition problem solving and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Hours: Monday to Sunday; 7.5 hour shifts with on call responsibilities (Subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $43.509 to $56.510
