Lead Quality Engineer QA Coordinator

• Aid in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in compliance with ISO9001 ASME AS/ISO3834 AS5131 CC3 and other applicable standards.
• Lead quality deliverables for individual projects including development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) Quality Plans Weld Procedures Welder Qualifications Manufacturer Data Records (MDRs) and project-specific documentation.
• Drive accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance with ASME and ISO systems.
• Monitor and raise concerns of quality issues in production supporting corrective and preventive actions (NCR process).
• Manage and participate in internal external and supplier quality audits.
• Liaise with clients auditors and external parties regarding quality requirements and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement through the application of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and quality-related initiatives.
• Actively participate in production meetings to provide input on quality considerations.

Qualifications :

• Relevant certifications highly regarded:
  • AS 1796 Certificate 10 (Welding Supervisor Pressure Equipment)
  • AS 2214 Welding Supervisor (Structural Steel)
  • IIW IWI-E / IIW IWI-S
  • CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering (desirable not essential).
• 5 years experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge of quality systems and standards: ISO9001 ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 ASME ISO3834 AS5131 CC3.
• Internal and external auditing experience/qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving analytical and computer literacy skills.
