ThePayroll Specialistis responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of payroll activities across payrolls assigned across EMEA Region (Netherlands Belgium Germany and the Middle East). This role supports end-to-end payroll operations partnering with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver compliant efficient and high-quality payroll services.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Execution:Support first-time-quality execution of payroll processes for assigned countries ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with local regulations.
- Employee Support:Address employee payroll inquiries promptly providing accurate resolutions within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Vendor Coordination:Collaborate with CloudPay and TCS representatives to resolve issues and align on system features integrations and both pre- and post-payroll processes.
- Reporting and Analysis:Assist in preparing and analyzing complex payroll and timekeeping management reports ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Process Documentation:Maintain and enhance comprehensive payroll process documentation to ensure consistency transparency and continuity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with internal teamsincluding Human Resources Compensation & Benefits and regional Business Support Managersto streamline and strengthen payroll processes across organizations.
- Compliance and Policy Management:Interpret and apply country-specific payroll regulations and policies ensuring ongoing compliance with local labor and tax laws.
- Internal Controls:Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve processes to align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Competencies
- Should have advanced understanding and knowledge of Benelux and German countries payroll statutory requirements.
- Prior experience with payroll & timekeeping platforms including vendor relationships & management.
- Understanding of pre payroll requirements exception scenarios and ability to analyze and troubleshoot post payroll discrepancies.
- Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the different HR Payroll Timekeeping & Attendance systems and process including the impact of changes in one area on another area.
- Ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans anticipate future events and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
