Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to help further develop our advanced software platform TEAMS. This platform supports container terminals worldwide in automating container transport.

Youll work on complex scalable and customer-specific solutions using your expertise to build robust and future-proof software.

And trust us: working with such impressive machines from giant cranes to self-driving vehicles sometimes feels like playing with your favorite toy cars as a kid but on a scale you only see in movies. Its not just technically challenging its also incredibly cool.

What will you do

• Design and implement technical solutions for complex challenges.
• Modernize our software stack including frameworks architecture and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate intensively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Actively share knowledge and mentor colleagues through technical challenges.
• Configure our software for unique customer environments.
• Work on international projects including on-site terminal startups around the world.

Qualifications :

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Thorough knowledge of recent Java versions (from version 11 onwards).
• Experience with tools and frameworks such as Camunda Kafka Spring Boot Hazelcast and JUnit.
• Affinity with front-end technologies test automation and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured methodical approach.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills both in Dutch and English.
