About the role

The Director PMO leads the enterprise project management function driving governance prioritization delivery excellence and team development across a global portfolio of technology initiatives. This leader will oversee complex business-critical programs ensuring they deliver measurable outcomes and align to corporate strategy.

With proven success running large-scale IT programs deep experience working with diverse vendor partners and exceptional communication skills the Director will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and a strategic bridge between business objectives and technology execution.

What you will do

Governance & Standards

  • Position the IT PMO as a Center of Excellence aligned with PMI guidelines quality standards and company objectives.
  • Define implement and continuously improve program management frameworks tools and metrics.
  • Drive compliance with governance standards financial expectations and delivery quality benchmarks.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team of project and program managers.
  • Mentor staff and instill best practices in program delivery risk management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Set performance goals and provide ongoing development for direct reports.
  • Oversee the execution of global projects ensuring delivery on time on budget and within scope.

Program Execution & Risk Management

  • Lead delivery of complex enterprise technology programs including ERP CRM and other business-critical systems.
  • Manage multi-vendor relationships contracts and partner accountability across system integrators SaaS providers and technology vendors.
  • Provide status audit and risk reporting to senior leadership; proactively resolve issues and dependencies.
  • Safeguard ROI through disciplined change financial and benefits realization management.

Prioritization & Executive Engagement

  • Partner with executives to evaluate proposals prioritize initiatives and align investments with strategic goals.
  • Provide insights on risks opportunities and trade-offs to support decision-making.
  • Communicate complex technical and business outcomes in clear executive-friendly terms.

What we are looking for

  • 10 years of progressive project/program management experience with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading global ERP or enterprise application implementations and other large-scale IT transformation programs.
  • Experience managing multiple vendors system integrators and SaaS solution providers.
  • PMP or PgMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in project/portfolio management (PPM) change management and governance frameworks.
  • Strong financial acumen and proven ability to manage large budgets and ROI accountability.
  • Skilled in resource management capacity planning and vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to influence and build trust across executive technical and business stakeholder groups.
  • Recognized for building and leading high-performance teams that deliver strategic business outcomes.
