The Opportunity
We are seeking two Lecturers in the Department of Business Law and Taxation who will contribute to advancing the Universitys academic mission through innovative teaching and impactful research in law or taxation. This position aims to strengthen the Departments established research and teaching portfolio fostering scholarly excellence and professional engagement aligned with the Facultys strategic direction and interdisciplinary initiatives.
The role provides a dynamic opportunity to engage in high-quality teaching research and academic leadership within the Department. You will prepare and deliver lectures tutorials and seminars coordinate subjects and guide students through their academic and research programs. The role also involves conducting original research contributing to curriculum development undertaking assessment and consultation activities and participating in departmental and faculty governance and committees.
As the successful candidate you will bring strong academic expertise with demonstrated ability to teach in areas such as business law taxation law corporate governance banking law marketing law or digital technology regulation. You will possess proven experience in curriculum design and development supported by a record of high-quality peer-reviewed research publications. Your capacity to conduct impactful research engage diverse audiences and collaborate effectively within academic teams will be essential to success in this role.
