Reporting to the Treasurer of Risk Management the Junior Associate Treasury Dealer will be responsible for advising management on the Groups short-term liquidity requirements to support effective business planning and strategy with a primary focus on cash management. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Australian dollar denominated cash investment strategies
  • Partner with the business to forecast and model cash for the Group
  • Monitor and provide insights on a broad range of financial markets
  • Variance modelling and analysis
  • Preparing and presenting management reports
  • Demonstrated ability to support the month end process where necessary

About you:

  • Degree in accounting finance economics or other relevant discipline
  • Interest in financial markets; hedging transactions; accounting for financial instruments; and Treasury policies systems & procedures
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to think logically and holistically in bringing many different pieces of information and applying them into an overall review and strategy.
