As Director Clinical Services & Programs you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What youll be doing:
- Lead the planning implementation and evaluation of clinical programs to meet strategic and quality goals
- Provide inspirational leadership to managers and interdisciplinary teams fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Develop and implement departmental objectives operational plans and performance measures aligned with organizational priorities
- Oversee resource allocation workflow optimization and day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory legislative and accreditation standards (e.g. Accreditation Canada)
- Strategically manage admissions transfers and patient flow to support timely access to care and optimize census management
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the Physician Chief to align clinical priorities and support program development
- Respond to clinical and facility risks ensuring timely resolution and escalation as required
- Lead and support change management initiatives guiding teams through transitions with clarity and communication
- Represent the program on internal and external committees fostering partnerships with health system stakeholders and academic institutions (e.g. McMaster University)
- Develop and manage program budgets ensuring fiscal accountability and alignment with strategic goals
- Promote transparent communication with staff ensuring engagement and alignment with organizational objectives
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in a health-related field (e.g. Health Administration Nursing Social Work Occupational Therapy) Masters preferred.
- Valid registration with the relevant college/governing body in Ontario is mandatory (ex: OCSWSSW CNO CRPO)
- 710 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare with a focus on quality patient safety or clinical operations
- Strong understanding of mental health and addictions care systems and evidence-based care models
- Proven experience with Accreditation Canada standards and survey processes
- Exceptional communication collaboration and relationship management skills
- Advanced critical thinking analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated success in leading teams managing change and improving service delivery
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with a talent for engaging diverse audiences
