Job Summary

Position Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Crusher Operator to join our this role you will be a key contributor to our operations operating and maintaining heavy equipment including crushers loaders dozers and excavators to ensure safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities:

Operator heavy equipment such as crushers loaders dozers and excavators safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment to minimize downtime.
Operator and maintain crushing equipment including Kleeman jaw cone impact crushers screens gen sets conveyors and stackers.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
Follow established protocols and safety procedures including incident reporting.
Communicate plant site issues with foremen and management during daily inspections.
Assist with plant maintenance and repair including labor work cutting fabricating and welding.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Coordinate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

Demonstrated commitment to a personal and passionate safety culture.
Minimum of 3 years experience in aggregate or mining operations with knowledge of crushers screens conveyors and related equipment.
Previous mining or production experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
Loader and crusher operation experience preferred.
Welding fabrication and repair experience is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced variable weather environment.
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record; CDL Class A required.
Willingness to travel to various locations in Southern Minnesota.
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
Tolerance for working in dirty dusty and variable weather conditions.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
Understanding key preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
Knowledge of laws policies and regulations affecting mining operations.
Ability to implement workplace changes efficiently using available resources.

Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 to $37.00 per HOUR
