The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for a talented Server Assistant to join The Hotel Bar. This is a union position.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of food and beverage experience preferably as a food runner or server assistant with proven ability to perform in high-volume environments strong communication skills to explain dishes clearly full availability and flexibility to support service both indoors and outdoors.
This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids and 1000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views delicious dining options and endless sunshine in Hollywood Florida.
Shift Pattern: Full-Time/ Full availability is required to support early morning mid-shift and evening hoursincluding weekdays weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing
As a Server Assistant you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set and prepare tables for dining including but not limited to folding napkins cleaning and placing tableware serving water etc.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
- Stock maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service including but not limited to serving beverages breads etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner
