The mission

INGs Payment and Settlement Services (PSS) aims to further mature develop and expand INGs state of the art payments platforms and settlements services. The PSS focusses on delivering payments and settlement services meeting the expectations of INGs business lines and beyond whilst ensuring the basics: safe secure compliant and reliable. The PSS is an independent unit within INGs CTO domain reporting directly into INGs Chief Technology Officer.

The PSS is responsible for providing standardized payments and settlements services to multiple ING business lines (WB Retail and others). There is a clear ambition to also look for external commercialization of our payment platforms.

The PSS changes the organization towards a true Services-based organization and to deliver on ambitious promises we have organized ourselves into a strong strategic and commercially focused organization around our eight services where our squads working on those products are enabled by clear prioritization accountability and capabilities.

Currently we are looking for a Product Owner divided between the Services of SEPA Direct Debits (location Belgium) SEPA Instant Payments/Classic and International Payments.
PSS works. PSS works according to Agile principles in self-organizing teams. Together with other CJEs you have an end-to-end responsibility for the development and you have the main responsibility for the delivery. As our Product Owner youll determine what is being worked on within a squad (in consultation with your Product Lead) responsible for meeting the Services KPIs and decide what the key priorities are.

Your day to day

• Maximizing business value through ordering and prioritizing the product backlog features and stories.

• Actively involved in the creation of Epics Features User Stories and Tasks

• Build and maintain strong relations with important key-stakeholders (Risk Legal Compliance Audit service consumers service providers Finance Tax Sales ..)

• Solve impediments encountered in the development of the Product

• Active and timely Backlog management in collaboration with business and other IT stakeholders with the ability to adapt quickly to impediments and challenges

• Ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are defined and met. Non-functional requirements include but are not limited to security resilience performance contractual legal and compliance requirements and obligations.

• Be in control regarding Risk and Compliance

• Create a solid base with your development and operations team

What youll bring to the team

• A Master or Bachelor degree

• 3 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst;

• Experience with working in projects and/or programs is a must have;

• Experience in guiding on and offshore teams

• Experience in Agile environments in a corporate set-up

• You are highly self-organizing pragmatic and always seek opportunities to improve your work.

• Experience in Payments Services like SEPA Direct Debits SEPA Classic SEPA Instant Payments and International Payments

• Excellent in English.
