Allround Groundworker

Were looking for experienced and versatile Groundworkers to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction and civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of groundwork activities including drainage kerbing slabbing concreting and ducting.

• Prepare and level sub-bases to specification ensuring solid foundations for follow-on trades.

• Lay and finish concrete paving and edgings to a high standard.

• Assist with excavation backfilling and reinstatement works.

• Operate plant and equipment such as dumpers rollers and small excavators safely and efficiently.

• Read and work from drawings and site levels accurately.

• Maintain a tidy safe and efficient working area following all site safety procedures.

• Work closely with supervisors and other trades to ensure the programme and quality standards are met.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS card.

• Proven experience in a varied groundwork role.

• Skilled in using hand and power tools with experience in drainage kerbing and finishing works.

• Capable of operating dumpers and rollers (with valid CPCS/NPORS tickets).

• Reliable proactive and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Desirable

• Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g. 360 Machine Telehandler Dumper Roller).

• 5 years experience in groundwork civil engineering or hard landscaping.

• Experience working as part of a small team or gang on large-scale projects.
