We are currently searching for aVibrant & Kind-heartedCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA)forin-home care shifts Sunday - Saturday from 11am-7pmin Reston. We are looking for a compassionate care professional looking to make an impact with a client in a 1-on-1 engagement.
Position Overview
The right care professional will have dementia experience and be able to support the client with mild dementia basic care needs such as meal planning prep escort to appointments or on errands and ambulatory support. The client could also benefit from a care professional who is extremely supportive and engaged with their emotional well-being as much as their physical care as well. The right care professional will be proactive and a positive force in their life identifying ways to engage client.
Primary Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation light housekeeping and mobility support
- Identify engaging activities for client based on their interests
- Escort and accompany to appointments or on errands
Qualifications
- Active CNA license in the state of Virginia (preferred) or PCA with experience
- Compassionate patient and emotionally attuned to client needs
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
